If you care about how your business is portrayed through your reviews on Google, we’ve got some news you’ll be excited to hear.
Earlier this month, Google released a new tool dedicated to helping you manage your reviews all in one place. You can use the feature either to report a new review that violates Google’s quality guidelines or to check the status of a previously flagged review.
GOOGLE REVIEW MANAGEMENT TOOL
Let’s say you need to report a new review. Select the second option, and the system will pull up a list of all your recently added feedback.
Next to the review you want to report, click ‘Report a problem.’ You will be taken to a new window where you’ll have a chance to tell Google what the issue is.
Select the relevant concern and then click ‘Report.’ After you have reported the review, a new section will appear where you can view additional details about your request, and escalate the issue if the removal was not granted and you still feel there is a violation.
This review management feature is welcome news for thousands of business owners who rely on Google My Business as part of their online presence. It makes it easy to ensure that you are being presented in an accurate and fair manner, and take action if you are not. We encourage you to check out the tool yourself and let us know what you think!
